Senior Portraits
Welcome to my Blog about Senior Portraits.
12th grade: what an accomplishment! You’ve worked so hard to get here. You deserve to document who you are and what makes you, YOU.
Senior portraits are not only meant to provide an image to the school for the yearbook but also to preserve this time in your life. It is an opportunity to showcase who you have become. What you have accomplished. And what you have to look forward to.
Many seniors include props of their sports, band/instruments, pets, and favorite things in their photoshoot. It is important to bring these items with you to show what you’ve done during your high school career.
It is important to change outfits during your shoot. To show the dressed up, formal side of you and to show the casual, comfortable side of you.
Typically we will work together to choose a location of your choice or one that I suggest. I will make recommendations for wardrobes and discuss what props you would like to include. I will guide you during the shoot into specific poses. If you have a certain pose or image you are hoping to capture please let me know ahead of time.
Once the shoot is over I will provide basic editing on all images (unless you have asked for advanced editing) and then upload them to your gallery. You will receive a link to view the images and choose your favorites by clicking on the Heart on each photo.
Once you choose your favorites you will let me know which one you would like for your yearbook. I will then crop that image to fit your schools requirement and send it off to the school for inclusion. You will then be able to let me know what size prints you would like of the remaining favorites. We can then order those images for display.
Thank you for your business and the opportunity to capture these images to last a lifetime.
