I had the absolute pleasure of taking Mike's senior pictures this year at Monson Center in Milford. Mike's mom, Linda, contacted me to take his photos after seeing my work with one of his friends. Though it is late in the season and we only had a couple of days to prepare I'm so glad I was able to fit them in.
What a wonderful family to work with. Both mom and dad were present and so helpful throughout the session. Their presence didn't seem to make Mike nervous at all, as sometimes parents do. In fact, I think their presence was just the opposite and helped Mike to feel more comfortable.
He has never had a professional photo shoot before. However, he was a natural and quickly became a pro at posing and following my direction. As the sun was setting our lighting was quickly changing. These late Fall early Winter evenings turn very quickly into night. The changes in light allow for multiple looks throughout the shoot creating a collage of images.
We decided on Monson Center due to the time of year and most of the leaves being off the trees. I knew Monson would provide for some color and a beautiful backdrop of the forest and rock walls. We had about an hour before sunset and utilized every minute.
While Mike was using the changing station to put on his handsome suit I took that opportunity to take some photos of Linda and Scott. It is always so much fun to take photos of couples allowing their love to shine through. It was clear that this couple is no exception.
Mike attends a local high school and plans to follow in his father's footsteps to become a pilot after graduation. He would like to use this skill to help people in need through medical flights.
Currently Mike is on a bowling team through his school. He has close friends and seems to enjoy being social.
I believe he will do great things in his life and look forward to hearing about them someday throughout the community.
Thank you so much Mike, Linda, and Scott for choosing me to take these Senior Photos and for making our time together so enjoyable. I look forward to working together again!
Lynne
