I am so excited to present these sneak peeks of Jake to him and his mom, Shannon. He was such a pleasure to work with.
Jake chose the Senior Portrait Experience which allows for more time and multiple locations. Our first location was held at Morin's Landscaping. We will choose his second location once the leaves have changed colors for Fall.
Jake is a HB Senior. He looks forward to attending college for Music Composition. He is deciding where he will attend. He plays the base guitar and enjoys writing songs.
He is the youngest in his family and was so cooperative during the photo shoot. I love how accommodating he was with his moms requests. Such a great young man.
Jake has many talents in addition to playing and writing music. He also is a surfer using a Wave Board. I had never heard of a Wave Board and had the privilege of seeing him in action through a video shared by his mom. It is so COOL. Clearly it takes a lot of practice and skill. And Jake seems to have mastered this activity.
It can be so hard for people to have professional photos taken of them. Most of us have never had this experience and it can seem awkward. However, Jake made it seem easy. He is so laid back and easy going. He was so tolerant of the multiple wardrobe changes and poses asked of him. He has such a great "mom smile". What is a "mom smile" you wonder? Well, I often tell my Seniors that I have two clients - them and their mom. Boys particularly like closed smiles or serious looks over the open smile showing their teeth. However, moms typically like that open smile and I call it the "mom smile". And Jake nailed it!
Thank you so much Shannon & Jake for choosing me to capture these images for your senior year. It was truly a pleasure to spend time together and work with you both!
I look forward to our next session in October when we have more Fall colors.
