2023 has been an amazing year in my business. I am so thankful for so many things. I realized in reflecting on the year that I have not blogged at all. This is in part due to changing how I run my business.
I now provide a full-service model where I cater to my clients and create a personalized experience where I hold your hand throughout the entire process.
We will meet for a consultation to determine if we are the right fit. During this meeting, preferably in your home, we will review pricing and expectations. We will identify your vision and goals for your session. We will map out the session and make sure we capture everything you want. We will determine if you will have your hair and makeup professionally done through my studio or on your own. We will discuss your wardrobe and pick out what to wear. We will decide on the location - outside or in studio. We will pick the date and time.
We then will meet at the place we agreed on to perform the photo session. I will guide you and help pose you in the most flattering way. I will use my expertise in lighting, composition, and posing to get the best photographs. Most of all we will have fun and laugh a lot!
Once the session is over the editing begins. I will professionally edit all photographs after narrowing them down to the best of the best. I do not want to overwhelm you with too many to choose from and want you to have the best options for your home. I will create a video of my recommendations and show you on a large 60 inch screen in my home. I will then help you decide on the best products for your home and place your order with you.
I will then send the order to one of the 3 pro labs I use and your products will be delivered to me directly. I will then inspect them, sign them as the artist, and arrange delivery to you. I will bring them to your home and help you hang them in the place they were designed for.
You will have the time of your life and enjoy your artwork for years to come.
The above photos were so much fun to create.
The Cummings family spent a hot summer day with me creating updated photos to hang in their home. We spent the day at their church creating these beautiful images and had so many laughs along the way. Thank you!
Holly dreamt of her senior session for a long time. She planned it out down to every detail, including the dress, boots, and shawl she would wear. Her favorite season is Winter and she so wanted her images on the their lake. However, Mother Nature did not cooperate and the lake was not frozen. Though it was still beautiful and we captured the most magical images. What a dream experience! Thank you!
The Uribe family was such a joy to photograph. These two littles were such great troopers and kept me laughing and on my toes the whole day. I forgot how much fun it is to spend with 4 and 5 year old's. We created such wonderful memories for this family and images that they have hanging in their home. We even used their Halloween costumes as incentive to hang in there with us as we went through all the other poses and outfits we wanted to capture first. They did so well. I look forward to working with Laura again as she is an amazing makeup artist and we agreed to partner together for future client experiences.
Thank you to all of you for bringing such great fun and experiences to me this year. I look forward to working with you all again.
Seniors are by far my favorite to photograph. I just love teenagers. I love their spirit and how they have so much to look forward to. I love hearing about their high school experience and what they plan to do next.
Isabelle is a quiet, reserved senior who was an absolute pleasure to photograph this year. It was so much fun.
Nevan is another quiet senior who was a bit nervous to be photographed. However, we ended up having a blast. We even got in his new car at the end which he ended up choosing in a Metal Print for his walls.
I want these seniors to walk away happy and open to other photo opportunities in the future. Photographs serve so much purpose and document our lives and experiences. It's so important to me to do this for EVERYONE.
Thank you so much to all my seniors.
I had the pleasure of photographing my daughter, Guiliana, for her senior photos this year. We have a vacation condo in N. Conway, NH that we visit every August and this is where we decided to take her photos.
We had such a blast. We drove to the top of Cathedral Ledge and took photos there with the White Mountains in the background. She changed outfits and we headed to the Saco River to take some unique photos in the river. We headed home to dry off and rest and then changed again and headed downtown for more stunning photos. We even visited the train station and took some walking throughout downtown N. Conway, which is so beautiful. It was the best time and experience. I am so glad I can do this for my kids.
I had the absolute pleasure of photographing one of my dearest friends sons over the years. This year was Tommy's turn and we headed to downtown Milford, NH to take in the town feel. We headed over to the park as well and changed outfits. Tommy is one of the kindest most genuine people I know. I am so proud of him and glad to be part of his life.
His older brother Sam was photographed as a senior too many years ago. He has now graduated college and is working in the same field as my full-time career, Psychotherapy. We just got around to choosing his images from long ago and putting them together in this wonderful Trio piece of art. I couldn't be more proud of him as well.
Thank you Lori and Nate for trusting me with your boys and family to capture your beauty and amazing personalities. I am so thankful to call you friends.
Throughout the year I often donate to various Auctions or Fundraisers. I enjoy giving the art of photography to people and reaching as many people as I can.
This particular photo session was a result of an auction I donated to with Opportunity Networks, an amazing day program for adults with disabilities.
Danielle came to me with lots of ideas of what she wanted. Fast forward through many changes for her including a job change and that vision shifted. No problem at all! My purpose is to serve.
We settled on headshots for her new job. We decided on both outdoors and in studio. I don't think I have laughed or talked so much with any other client. Danielle is truly an amazing person and so much fun to be around. I think I could sit with her for days just talking.
We are already planning an extended family session in Canada someday. Yes, I do travel!
So, as most of you know I do not photograph weddings. However, I agreed to do this small backyard wedding for a friend of mine in October. It was so much fun and a beautiful location at their home in Milford, NH.
They had a small gathering of close friends and family. I photographed the ceremony and then specific images they requested with their guests. In order for them to get all the images I recommended they ordered a beautiful album in Navy Leather. It was stunning.
Nichole loves to scrapbook and will use the digital images of all the photos they purchased in her scrapbook. I can't wait to see how it comes out.
I wish you both many years of happiness. Thank you Nichole and Jerry for trusting me with your special day.
The summer of 2023 had me very busy as I partnered with Touchstone Farm in Lyndeborough, NH to photograph their campers and their horses for 5 weeks.
Above is a sample of the images captured over the summer. It was so much fun for me to be at the farm and photographing one of my favorite animals and the young girls who spent a week or more at this amazing farm.
I grew up with horses and being at the farm brought me back to my childhood. The horsing community is very unique and tightknit. The friendships these girls have made will stay with them for a lifetime. They will never forget their time at the farm and the horses they grew to love.
Thank you Kris Young so much for trusting me to capture these beautiful animals and girls. Thank you to Grace for helping me during each photo session with making sure the horses were attentive and their ears were pointing in the right direction. And for keeping all their names straight for me. You were so great to work with.
I can't wait for next summer to do it all over again. Providing this experience for the campers is priceless. These are memories they have in print to last a lifetime and I'm so grateful to be a part of it. Thank you!
